Community Bank launches traffic fine collection service for Khulna Police

Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has inaugurated a new service for collecting traffic fines through Khulna District Police. The launch event, which took place recently at the Khulna Club, marks a significant step in streamlining the fine collection process.

A contract was signed between Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and the Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) during the event. The agreement was signed by DIG Mohammad Rezaul Haque on behalf of KMP and the Acting Managing Director of Community Bank, Kimiya Saadat.

The ceremony was attended by several key figures, including KMP’s Additional Commissioner, Mohammad Rashidul Islam Khan BPM, PPM Bar; KMP’s DC Traffic, Sudarshan Kumar Roy; DC Headquarter, Mohammad Shahnewaz Khaled PPM Sewa; DC North, Mohammad Tajul Islam; DC Prosecution, Shafiqul Islam; DC City, Abul Bashar Mohammad Atikur Rahman; and DC DB, Mohammad Anwar Hossain.

Other dignitaries present included Khulna Range’s Additional DIG Mohammad Belayet Hossain, Additional DIG Sheikh Zaynuddin, Khulna District SP T.M. Mosharraf Hossain, Traffic Inspector Abu Naim Mohammad Mufazzal Hossain, along with Community Bank’s Head of ADC and Head of MD’s Coordination Team, Mohammad Mamunur Rahman, and Head of Khulna Branch, Mohammad Rokonuzzaman, as well as other senior officials from the bank.

This collaboration is expected to enhance the efficiency of the traffic fine collection process, making it more convenient for the public.
