Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep grief and sorrow following the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft at the Milestone School and College campus in the Diyabari area of Dhaka.
The incident, which has left the nation in mourning, was met with heartfelt condolences from the Chief Adviser, who extended sympathy to the families of those affected.
In a condolence message issued on Monday, the Chief Adviser said, “I express my profound sorrow and grief over the tragic crash of the Bangladesh Air Force’s F-7 BGI training aircraft. The loss suffered by the Air Force personnel, students, parents, teachers, staff of Milestone School and College, and others involved is irreparable. This is a moment of deep sorrow for the nation.”
The crash, which occurred in Uttara, resulted in one fatality and left 20 others injured, including students. The Chief Adviser wished for the swift recovery of the injured and instructed relevant hospitals and authorities to address the situation with the utmost urgency.
He also said that the government will take all necessary measures to investigate the cause of the crash and will provide full assistance to the affected individuals.
