Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Beximco Pharma) hosted Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Hafiz, special assistant to the Chief Adviser, and Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, renowned economist and special assistant to the Chief Adviser, on 6 August 2025, as part of an official visit to the company’s state-of-the-art facilities in Dhaka.
The delegation was given an in-depth tour of Beximco Pharma’s manufacturing plant, research and development center, and quality control laboratories, according to a press release.
The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the company’s growing influence in the global pharmaceutical sector, with the delegation being briefed on Beximco Pharma’s innovative product pipeline and its contributions to public health.
Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Hafiz praised the company for its technological advancements and global competitiveness, stating, “Beximco Pharma has transformed Bangladesh’s pharmaceutical sector and earned its place on the international stage.”
Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury also commended the company for its high standards in research and development, affirming, “Beximco Pharma is not only producing medicines but creating value for the nation by meeting international standards.”
