A group of miscreants set fire to a bus of Bihanga Paribahan in the Pallabi area of the capital on Saturday night.
The incident took place at around 8pm with no injuries reported.
Police said that miscreants set fire to the stationary bus on Ceramic Road and fled the scene.
Upon receiving the news, firefighters quickly arrived and extinguished the fire.
CCTV footage from the location and surrounding areas is being collected.
Shahjahan, the duty officer at the Fire Service Headquarters Control Room, said that miscreants burnt the bus as part of sabotage.
