The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) forcibly pushed 20 more individuals into Bangladeshi territory through border points in Dinajpur and Thakurgaon districts on Monday night, officials confirmed.

According to Commanding Officer of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Battalion-42 Lt Col Abdullah Al Moin Hasan, a BGB patrol team detained 13 people after they were pushed across the Enayetpur border in Biral upazila of Dinajpur. In a separate incident, seven more individuals entered through the Chanduria border in Pirganj upazila of Thakurgaon, which also falls under the jurisdiction of the same BGB battalion.

The group included four men, four women and twelve children. This latest incident comes despite repeated concerns raised by Bangladesh authorities about the continuing practice of BSF pushing people across the border.
