The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will organise a dua mahfil (prayer session) and public rally in Sylhet on Monday, July 7, seeking good health and long life for party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
The event is expected to draw several senior leaders, including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas, who will address party activists and supporters.
BNP Central Assistant Organising Secretary Miftah Siddique confirmed that the programme is being arranged under the initiative of Adviser to the BNP Chairperson and President of BNP’s UK unit MA Malik.
