The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold nationwide victory rallies on Wednesday commemorating the anniversary of the July Uprising.
A press release, signed by BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, announced that the rallies will be held nationwide to mark the anniversary of the fall of the “Awami fascist regime” and the victory of the student-led mass uprising.
The victory rally will begin at 2pm on Wednesday, starting from BNP’s central office at Nayapaltan in the capital.
Leaders and activists from various districts of the Dhaka Division, including Tangail, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Dhaka District, Dhaka North City Corporation, Dhaka South City Corporation, Gazipur, Gazipur City, Narsingdi, and Narayanganj, are expected to participate in the rally.
The BNP has requested all of its leaders and activists, from all levels of the party and its affiliated organisations, as well as the people of Dhaka, to participate in the rally on time.
