The Bangladesh Cricket Board has scheduled its upcoming meeting for September 1 in Sylhet. The last gathering of the board was held on August 9 at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.
According to T Sports, the board insiders have said that the key topic on the agenda will be the formation of an election commission. This step is seen as important before the next BCB elections.
BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul attended the last meeting virtually. This time, he is expected to be present in person.
The timing of the meeting coincides with the Bangladesh-Netherlands T20 series. The first match of the series is set for August 30, the second on September 1, and the final on September 3.
All three matches will be hosted at the Sylhet International Stadium. The board meeting will take place on the same day as the second T20 match.
