Bangladesh’s presence in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, starting March 26, goes beyond just the players.
As ICC Elite panel umpire Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid Saikat is set to officiate matches in the tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the full list of match officials on Monday.
Former Bangladesh cricketer Saikat, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, has officiated high-profile series such as the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, the Ashes, and the 2024 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He also officiated in the most recent T20 World Cup, further highlighting his experience on the international stage.
