The Bangladesh national football team is set to take on Singapore in their second match of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers tomorrow evening. The much-anticipated clash will kick off at 7:00 PM at the National Stadium in Dhaka.
With excitement running high following Bangladesh’s impressive 1-1 draw against India on 25 March, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has issued six important directives for fans attending the match.
In a press release issued late Monday night, the BFF’s media department outlined measures to ensure smooth entry and safe conduct during the event. Notably, stadium gates will open from 2:00 PM—five hours prior to kick-off—to allow orderly entry. Supporters have been strongly advised to arrive early to avoid congestion.
The federation has taken a firm stance on ticket fraud, warning that anyone found with counterfeit or duplicated tickets will face immediate legal consequences.
The match has attracted significant public interest, with all 18,300 tickets sold out shortly after they were released on 24 May. Despite frustrations among supporters over ticketing issues—including technical glitches and suspected cyber attacks—the anticipation for a Bangladesh victory remains undiminished.
To accommodate the large crowd, the BFF has provided specific instructions for general admission ticket holders. Fans entering through Gate 3 must queue in an orderly fashion outside the stadium, with two lanes designated from the Dainik Bangla intersection to the RAJUK Bhaban. One of the lanes will remain open to allow vehicular traffic.
The federation has made it clear that no one will be allowed entry without a valid ticket. However, arrangements have been made for fans without tickets to watch the match on large screens in several major cities across the country.
Security regulations will also be strictly enforced. Attendees will not be permitted to bring bags, bottles, or any unnecessary personal items into the stadium.
As Bangladesh aim for a crucial victory to bolster their qualifying hopes, a packed stadium and nationwide fan engagement promise an electric atmosphere for this high-stakes encounter.
