Bangladesh will host its first-ever dedicated exhibition on cosmetics, personal care, and hygiene products next week as the industry sees rapid expansion driven by rising consumer demand.
Titled Cosmetica: Personal Care & Hygiene Show 2025, the two-day event will take place on 8–9 August at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), organisers confirmed.
SquaredMind is arranging the expo with support from the Korean and Thai embassies, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
The exhibition comes amid a booming local market, which has crossed Tk 34,000 crore in value, according to a report by the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission. The industry includes cosmetics, skincare, and medicated hygiene products.
The Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics estimates over 27 million women in the 20–39 age group, with nearly 70 per cent identified as regular users of cosmetics—reflecting a sizeable and growing user base.
Brands, distributors, and skincare professionals from Bangladesh, South Korea, Thailand, and beyond will participate. Visitors can explore product showcases, attend beauty consultations, and engage in expert-led sessions across the two days.
“This is the country’s first organised platform focused entirely on cosmetics and hygiene,” said Cosmetica Dhaka’s CEO. “We aim to raise awareness about safe product usage and encourage new investments in this sector.”
The organisers say the show will also address growing concerns about counterfeit products and market regulation while encouraging formal growth in the sector.
The event’s strategic partner is Hal Fashion, while media support is provided by Canvas magazine and Bangla Telegraph.
The exhibition will remain open to all visitors from 10am to 8pm during the two-day programme.
