Head coach Peter Butler has announced a 23-member Bangladesh women’s national football team squad for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers, set to take place from June 29 to July 5 in Myanmar.

The English coach has made three changes to the team that recently held higher-ranked Jordan and Indonesia to draws in international friendlies during May and June as part of their preparation.

Goalkeepers Saurna Rani Mandal and Mile Akter have been brought in, replacing Meghla Rani Roy and Fardosi Akter. In defense, experienced campaigner Nilufa Yasmin Nila makes a much-anticipated return, taking the place of Shanti Mardi.

Bangladesh will fly out to Myanmar in the early hours of Wednesday and kick off their qualifying campaign against Jordan on June 29. They face group hosts and favourites Myanmar on July 2, before concluding the group stage against Turkmenistan on July 5.

With only the group winner progressing to the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup in Australia, Bangladesh will be aiming to make a strong impression under Butler’s guidance.
