Bangladesh have won the toss and opted to bat first in the second ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo. In the first ODI, the visitors were all out for just 167 after having a brilliant start while trying to chase down 245. The batting order trickled down to 105/8 from a strong position with the scoreboard showing 99/1. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and his men would like to avoid such a collapse and post a big total in this must-win game.

There are two changes in the Bangladesh XI. Litton Das, who is in a horrible ODI form, with four ducks in his last six innings, has been dropped from the XI. Shamim Hossain Patwary, the power-hitting middle order batter comes in his place.

Taskin Ahmed gets rested, and Hasan Mahmud gets to play in the second ODI.
