Bangladesh Coast Guard seized 90 kilograms of venison and a boat in the Bishkhali river area.
The Coast Guard was acting on a tip-off when they conducted a special drive in the Harinaghat area under Patharghata Police Station in Barguna, coast guard officers shared with media.
The poachers, sensing the Coast Guard’s presence, fled, and no arrests were made. The seized venison and the boat were handed over to the Patharghata Forest Department for legal action, says officials .
