Bangladesh Army has participated in the international joint strategic exercise ‘West-2025’, held in Nizhny Novgorod. Russia hosted the exercise from September 1 to September 17, says a media release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to ISPR, the Bangladesh Army has been regularly joining bilateral and multinational exercises with different countries to strengthen cooperation and enhance joint operational capabilities. As part of this effort, a contingent of 37 army personnel took part in the ‘West-2025’ exercise in Russia.

The exercise took place at the Mulino Military Training Ground in Nizhny Novgorod. ISPR said the drills included a wide range of strategic activities focusing on coordination, responsiveness, and mutual cooperation. Armed forces from several friendly nations also participated in the manoeuvres.
