Fans of Bangladesh’s hugely popular drama series Bachelor Point have another reason to celebrate, as filming for the fifth season is now nearing completion.
The update was confirmed by one of the show’s leading actors, Tawsif Mahbub.
Currently juggling web films, television dramas and OTT projects, Tawsif said work on director Kajal Arefin Ome’s hit series is also approaching its final phase, with only a few days of shooting remaining.
Speaking in a recent interview, the actor said, “Bachelor Point season 5 is coming to an end. We have been filming the final portions for quite some time now. There are only a few more days of shooting left. After that, the director will share more details about the project.”
However, Tawsif remained tight-lipped about how the story will conclude, whether the plot will take an unexpected turn, or if viewers can expect any major surprises in the closing episodes.
He suggested that the makers want to preserve the suspense and let audiences experience the finale without spoilers.
Widely regarded as one of Bangladesh’s most successful television dramas, Bachelor Point has earned immense popularity for its blend of friendship, family relationships, romance, comedy and contemporary social themes.
Since its debut, the series has built a loyal fan base, particularly among younger viewers.
Each season has attracted millions of views on YouTube, while its memorable characters, dialogues and comic moments continue to dominate discussions across social media.
Directed by Kajal Arefin Ome, the ensemble cast includes Tawsif Mahbub, Chashi Alam, Marzuk Russell, Faria Shahrin, Mishu Sabbir, Ziaul Hoque Polash and several other popular actors, all of whom have helped make the series one of the country’s most beloved television productions.
Although the production team has yet to announce a release date for the new season, Tawsif’s latest update suggests that viewers will not have to wait much longer for the return of the fan-favourite series.
