Renowned South Asian musician duo Arnob-Sunidhi are set to perform in Sydney on August 9 at the Bankstown Sports Club, as part of a highly anticipated event organised by Poth Productions. The concert, which has already sold most of its tickets, marks the duo’s return to the Sydney stage following previous successful shows in the city.

Opening the event will be Sydney-based pop-rock band The Crew, led by Laura and Mitul. The duo is returning to live performances in Sydney and have previously been met with enthusiasm from diaspora audiences.

This will be The Crew’s second major Sydney appearance this season, following their performance at Warfaze’s 40th anniversary concert. The band is also preparing to release their first original song in 15 years, rekindling memories of music from their early years.

Speaking to Times of Bangladesh, Shawon Arijit of Poth Productions said, “We’re very happy to be hosting Arnob and Sunidhi once again this year. Like the last show, this one is also on its way to being sold out — with only a few tickets remaining, most of which will likely be gone in the next couple of days.”

A Sydney-based cultural organisation, Poth Productions has earned a reputation for curating high-quality South Asian music and cinema experiences. Their previous musical showcase, Arnob and Friends, sold out two years ago.

Beyond music, the group has also hosted screening sessions for acclaimed Bangladeshi films such as ‘Aynabaji’ and ‘Doob’, further contributing to the city’s growing appetite for Bangladeshi art and culture.

The upcoming concert is expected to draw a large crowd of South Asian music lovers, uniting diverse communities under one roof for an evening of nostalgia, melody and celebration.
