The World Literature Centre organises a special event titled Purnima Sandhya every year, celebrating the full moon night through Rabindra Sangeet on the centre’s rooftop.

This year, the event was held on 29 August, with Dr Anima Roy as the featured artiste.

However, rain disrupted the original plan to hold the programme on the southern rooftop of the World Literature Centre.

The event was subsequently moved to the centre’s auditorium.
