The UFC Hall of Fame Class of 2025 honoured some of the sport’s most iconic figures, with Amanda Nunes stealing the spotlight as the headliner of this year’s ceremony, held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event took place during International Fight Week, just two days ahead of the blockbuster UFC 317 card.
Nunes, widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, was inducted into the Modern Wing, recognising a glittering career that saw her conquer and dominate two weight divisions. The Brazilian trailblazer famously defeated a host of legends, including Ronda Rousey, Cris Cyborg and Valentina Shevchenko, and remains the only fighter in UFC history to defend titles in two divisions.
Joining Nunes in the Modern Wing was Robbie Lawler, another former champion and fan favourite known for his brutal wars and highlight-reel knockouts.
In the Pioneer Wing, two legends of earlier MMA eras were honoured: Vitor Belfort, whose career helped shape the early years of the UFC with explosive finishes and longevity, and Mark Kerr, a two-time heavyweight champion and decorated wrestler. Kerr’s induction was made even more special by the presence of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is set to portray Kerr in an upcoming biopic.
In the Fight Wing, the epic clash between Israel Adesanya and Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 236 was inducted — a five-round battle hailed as one of the greatest fights in UFC history, remembered for its grit, drama, and display of heart from both men.
Charles Oliveira, who is preparing to face Ilia Topuria for the lightweight title at UFC 317, was awarded the Forrest Griffin Community Award for his contributions outside the cage, a testament to his impact beyond the octagon.
Rounding off the list, Craig Piligian, co-creator of The Ultimate Fighter, was inducted into the Contributors Wing, recognising his role in revolutionising the sport’s global reach.
The Class of 2025 represents a cross-section of MMA greatness — fighters who shaped the UFC’s past, those who define its present, and others who helped build the very foundations of its success.
