Al-Arafah Islami Bank hosts training workshop on investment classification

Al-Arafah Islami Bank recently organised a training workshop focused on investment classification and provisioning reports, in line with the Master Circular issued by the Bangladesh Bank’s Banking Regulations and Policy Department.

The session was presided over by Md Abdur Rahim Duari, Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI). A total of 52 investment officers from different branches took part in the programme.

Deputy Managing Directors Md Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan and SM Abu Jafar as special guests attended the event.

In his remarks, Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan highlighted the critical role of prompt investment recovery in ensuring the bank’s sustainable growth. He also urged staff to prioritize quality small and medium-sized investments.

Echoing the need for operational efficiency, Abu Jafar called on officers to fully grasp and apply the new classification reporting system to enhance performance. Senior Vice President Towhid Siddiqui and other senior officials were also present at the workshop.
