Afghanistan to host Bangladesh for white-ball series in UAE

The Afghanistan Cricket Board confirmed that it will host Bangladesh in October. The tour will feature three ODIs and three T20Is.

The matches will take place in the UAE. The series will run from October 2 to October 14. The action starts with the T20Is. The first T20I will be played on October 2. The second and third T20Is are set for October 3 and October 5.

The ODI leg follows soon after. The first ODI will be played on October 8. The second and third ODIs will take place on October 11 and October 14.

Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Naseeb Khan welcomed the tour. He said they were proud to host Bangladesh. He highlighted the strong bond between the two boards. He promised fans exciting cricket and high-level competition.

Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury shared his views. He said the series would be competitive and exciting. He thanked Afghanistan for hosting the matches.

Both teams will head into the series after the Asia Cup. They are set to play in Group B of the tournament.
