Actor Bappy Chowdhury narrowly escapes horrific road accident

Popular actor Bappy Chowdhury had a close brush with death in a terrifying road accident late Sunday night. While returning to Dhaka from Narayanganj, his private car was violently rear-ended by a truck on the Jatrabari flyover. Though the actor miraculously escaped unharmed, his vehicle sustained significant damage.

Speaking to media, Bappy recounted: “Around midnight on Sunday, my car was moving normally on the Jatrabari flyover when suddenly a truck rammed into us from behind. I narrowly avoided what could have been a fatal crash.”

A still image circulating on social media shows the visibly shaken actor sitting dejectedly by the road divider, leaning against the median with his wrecked car beside him. “I’m still in shock from the trauma,” the actor admitted.

Police arrived promptly at the scene and impounded the truck involved, with a case being filed at the local police station.
