Singer Xefer Rahman has returned to the spotlight with a brand-new track titled Teer (Arrow).
In the music video, she dances throughout the entire song, appearing in three different looks, each featuring a uniquely styled saree.
She is joined on screen by eight female dancers.
Teer was released on Tuesday (April 29) on Xefer’s official YouTube channel.

In the video’s comment section, Xefer shared that she composed the melody back in March 2021, and the video was completed in June 2024.
“This project is very close to my heart — both the song and the video. It’s a fully experimental piece. As an artist, this is how I express myself, feed my soul, and explore new ideas,” said Xefer.
“I hope listeners and viewers enjoy it. If not, please wait for the next one. Thank you!”

The lyrics of Teer were co-written by Xefer and Adib Kabir, with musical arrangement also done by Adib. The concept and creative direction of the video were led by Xefer herself. Directed by Partha Sheikh, the music video runs for 2 minutes and 12 seconds, with choreography by TJ Faiza.
Xefer’s most recent song before Teer was Niye Jabe Ki from the Eid release film Dagi, which she also composed. The lyrics were written by Bandhan and the music was directed by Mark Don.
