The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were officially announced at around 10:45 am on Saturday, with the overall pass rate standing at 52.12 per cent.
The Dhaka Education Board recorded a pass rate of 61.80 per cent, with 16,714 students securing GPA-5.
A total of 40,084 students achieved GPA-5 across the country.
Among the nine general education boards, the overall pass rate stood at 51.62 per cent, with 646,686 students passing the examinations.
Meanwhile, the Madrasah Education Board reported a pass rate of 61.07 per cent, while the Technical Education Board recorded 49.43 per cent.
