The Supreme Court administration has announced a new time schedule for the country’s lower courts and associated offices during the Ramadan.
In a notice issued on Monday, signed by Supreme Court Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddique, the new working hour was outlined for public knowledge.
According to the new timing, from Sunday to Thursday, court proceedings will be held from 9:30am to 3pm throughout the month of Ramadan.
Similarly, related court offices will operate from 9am to 3:30pm.
Both courts and offices will observe a break for Zohr prayers from 1:15pm to 1:30pm.
This schedule has been introduced to ensure the smooth operation of the courts while respecting the religious practices of staff during Ramadan.
