A total of 204 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till Friday morning.
“During the period, 101 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division while nine were admitted hospitalised in Chattogram, five in Mymensingh and 10 in Rajshahi,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Besides, 57 patients have been hospitalised in Dhaka city during the period.
The total number of cases rose to 11,660 while 45 deaths from dengue, the mosquito-borne disease, were reported this year.
During the last 24 hours, 254 patients were discharged from different hospitals across the country.
Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214, while 575 deaths from the dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
