A total of 19 new COVID-19 cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), with the latest data, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country rose to 20, 52,063 while the total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,518 as no new deaths from the virus were reported.
A total of 412 samples were tested during the 24 hours period, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 4.61 per cent.
So far, the overall positivity rate stands at 13.04 per cent, while the fatality rate based on detected cases remains at 1.44 per cent.
