A total of 13 new Covid-19 infections were reported across the country in the last 24-hour period till 8am on Sunday.
According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 308 samples were tested during these 24 hours, resulting a positivity rate of 4.22 per cent.
However, no one died from Covid-19 during this period.
The cumulative death toll since the pandemic began in 2020 stands at 29,521.
So far in 2025, a total of 22 people died from the virus.
The overall detection rate stands at 13.04 per cent, while the recovery rate is 98.41 per cent. The case fatality rate is currently 1.44 per cent.
Bangladesh first confirmed Covid-19 cases on March 8, 2020, and recorded its first death from the virus ten days later, on March 18.
