In a move to maintain law and order and ensure public safety, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has deployed 12 platoons across the capital and its neighbouring districts.
The deployment was confirmed on Friday by Md Shariful Islam, public relations officer of BGB, who said the initiative is aimed at reinforcing security measures and preserving peace in the region.
