On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha this year, the government has approved a 10-day extended break for public servants, stretching from June 5 to June 14.
The decision was finalised by the interim government’s Council of Advisers at a meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday. The Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary confirmed the decision in a post made on his verified Facebook account.
In order to compensate for the extra break, government offices will remain open on two consecutive Saturdays – May 17 and May 24.
